Simply Clean is a powerful makeup-removing cleansing gel and face wash for oily skin formulated with an amino acid surfactant system and a 6% concentration combining sulfonic acid (HEPES), glycerin, chamomile and aloe extracts, orange oil, and citric acid to gently exfoliate uneven or rough skin. This unique gel cleanser efficiently removes waterproof makeup and excess oil to leave skin feeling clean and primed for in-office treatments and at-home cosmeceutical use. Tested suitable for use pre-procedure.

The Science Behind
Simply Clean Cleanser

Chemical Exfoliation

Exfoliators can either be physical or chemical. While physical exfoliators use a manual method like a scrub to clear skin, chemical exfoliators deeply penetrate layers of skin and dissolve dead cells by using alpha or beta hydroxy acids.

Simply Clean works best on normal, oily and combination skin. As a gel cleanser for oily skin, it provides gentle exfoliation to help lift away excess oil and impurities without stripping the skin’s essential moisture.

For more sensitive skin types, Gentle Cleanser is formulated to gently hydrate and comfort dry, tight skin and is tested suitable for use after in-office procedures.

What is in Simply Clean?

Simply Clean is formulated with a fruit acid blend, botanical extracts and chamomile to cleanse, exfoliate and soothe skin. The fruit acid blend works synthetically to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. The botanical extracts (chamomile and aloe) have softening properties to soothe and calm the skin. Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes and calms the skin.

Can I use Simply Clean with a retinol or retinoid?

Simply Clean can be used in conjunction with a retinol. If new to retinol, limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is important to establish consistent skin tolerance before advancing to a higher concentration.

Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.

How to Use Simply Clean

Prep + Dispense

Twice daily, gently massage one pump of Simply Clean gel cleanser onto a wet face and neck using a light circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.

Apply + Complete

If using in the morning, apply before a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and sunscreen. If using in the evening, apply before a SkinCeuticals corrective product or moisturizer.
